The Suitors website is somewhat up. It's a suitors.firestorm-ink.com. We'll be adding content to it. I'll be upgrading the rulebook and printing the rules for the Cyranno De Bergerac rules.

Back from Gen Con. Well ... it was Gen Con.

First of all I'd like to apologize to people for being in one place while they were in the other. I didn't get the memo until Saturday Night around 22:30. I also found out it would have been about 23:00 by the time I found you, which would have been the ubar suck. Hopefully I'll catch you the next time, and if you've still got that ticket, or a reasonable representation of it, I'll have to get you folks down for a freebie game. Hopefully that scenario again because it was pretty damned awesome.

Got to meet some interesting people I hadn't met before. Also have to give a huge thank you to Curt and Justin over at Smirk and Dagger Games for letting me borrow some space so that the people who were interested in Suitors could pick it up. And they did. Not in droves, mind you, but there was enough interest in the game that it made me happy. Which means next year is the beginning of the year of the booth.

Next up would be the Fan Expo in Toronto. See anyone who is going to be there!

What? Two updates in a month? Surely not!

I should give a quick update for Anime North. Anime North was an entertaining experience. This year it was far better organized than in the past. It actually felt like a part of the convention despite the fact that we were kind of on our own. The highlights had to have been all the CGen that we ended up running, plus the three hour marathon game of Werewovles of Millar's Hollow.

Kudos to everyone who was working at AN, and to the people who stayed and played games with us all weekend.

We look forward to next year

Second part of this announcement is that we're going to be remoddling the forums a bit so you may not be able to access them while we do this. It's nothing huge, mostly getting the forum set up for Suitors which should be out in stores now. We're just taking our time getting the website up.

Had a bit of a problem with hosting. Nothing they did, my host is awesome. More like I forgot to pay for the update. Whoops. Thankfully that was resolved quickly. I should have that post for Anime North soon. Promise?

Okay, so after doing some testing we figured out that it doesn't look that good in Opera or in Safari. However, IE and Firefox view it pretty damn well. I guess we need to tweak it, but at least the information is here too. Also, Anime North is tomorrow. We're going to be in the Renaissance, which is going to be ... interesting. We'll have to give a full update later.

Well folks, I know I've been promising you an update in forever and a day. Thankfully with a lot of help from some amazing people here it is. We'll be adding functionality to the website as we go along, but as you can see we really are trying to get things up and running again. This time around there will be a lot more content to sink your teeth into and a lot more to grab your attention as we have some fantastic projects on the horizon.

The art, and design, was done by Jenny Romanchuck (http://ashwings.deviantart.com) and the coding was done by Dave Herber (http://www.siberpuhnk.com). So please give props to those people on the forum, or just by checking out what they do.
